Thank you!

Dear Backers!

Thank you.

Because of you, we have reached our goal of $250,000, enabling us to manufacture our dream — an open hardware laptop. Now that we’ve met our funding goal, we can begin the real hard work of cutting steel into the molds that will ultimately shape our vision. This will be an epic journey, and we’re fortunate to have your good company, enthusiasm and patience as we tackle the exciting months ahead.

Now that we’ve reached our goal with 12 days to spare, we have a realistic chance of hitting some of our stretch goals. If you’re excited about libre 3D drivers, breakout boards, or SDR capability on your Novena, please help us spread the word to your friends and colleagues.

Finally, we’ll be at Maker Faire Bay Area on May 17-18 with our Novena laptops. xobs and I will be giving a talk on Saturday at 10:30AM at the MAKE: Electronics stage in the expo hall, and xobs will have his laptop and other accessories on display at the Freescale booth at the Faire. Please come visit us, we’d love to meet you! If you can’t make it to the Maker Faire, we are also hanging out in the #kosagi channel on the OFTC IRC network.

Again, thank you.

xobs and bunnie
