Using Molex components? Get ready to level up.

Does your project depend on the precision and reliability of Molex connectors, cabling, antennas, or other parts? If so, you could be eligible to join the Molex Stay Connected Design Challenge! With this design challenge, we seek to highlight real-world examples of how Molex technologies are solving the world’s toughest engineering challenges.

Ideas to Inspire

While all projects using Molex components will be considered, here are some specific areas of interest and parts to inspire you:

While designing, funding, manufacturing, and shipping a new product to happy customers is a reward unto itself, it can’t hurt to have some extra incentives along the way. Molex is partnering with Mouser Electronics and Crowd Supply to offer participants a wide array of support and prizes.

Support package for all entries

  • Promotion across Molex, Mouser, and Crowd Supply channels
  • Reduced-price parts for initial production run
  • Free pass to the Teardown 2019 conference
  • Reduced Crowd Supply campaign fee
  • Bill of materials and marketing review consultations

Special recognition for select entries

  • 1 x Teardown Best of Show, Judge's Choice Award
  • 1 x Teardown Best of Show, People's Choice Award
  • 5 x Reduced-price parts for extended production run (10X initial run)
  • 5 x Crowd Supply fulfillment fee credit for on-time delivery to backers

Entries can complete their 30-day Crowd Supply campaign anytime in 2019. However, entries that launch their Crowd Supply campaigns by Teardown (June 21-23, 2019) will be eligible for the Teardown Best of Show awards that will be determined live at Teardown.

To be eligible to participate in the design challenge, your project must:

  • Uniquely showcase one or (preferably!) more Molex components
  • Pass the rigorous vetting process applied to all Crowd Supply projects

Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and solely at the discretion of Molex and Crowd Supply.
