Classic lines. Modern style. Ultra-durable materials. The Freelance is a clean, simple pack designed to carry the gear you use to get the job done. It’s a stylish alternative to the messenger, a professional pack that looks great in the office, the boardroom, or just around town.
It has pockets to organize all your stuff, a padded laptop sleeve with easy access, and a super-bright interior so you can see inside without a flashlight.
It’s also built to last. The Freelance is made of heavyweight water-resistant cotton canvas woven by Fairfield Textile in the USA. It has military-grade seatbelt webbing and hardware that can withstand almost anything. The Freelance is made to stand the test of time and look better with age.
Packswell was founded by Dustin Driver: freelance writer, photographer and designer. He wanted a sleek pack to carry all his gear—a pack that would look good in business meetings, in the office, or around town. He designed the Freelance, a pack with classic lines and modern style.
The Freelance is the first in a wide rage of products that will include messenger bags, brief bags, tablet sleeves, bike panniers and more. Dustin introduced The Freelance in a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, where the pack raised over $12,000 over the course of its 30 day campaign which ended on Friday, April 19, 2013.
