Finding a manufacturer that fits your needs can be tough and intimidating. Maybe its your first time producing this particular type of thing and don’t even know what a manufacturer would need to know from you. What is the file format that they need? How do I know if they are any good at their job? Are their prices good or bad?
This talk tries to give you guidance on these questions so that you can be prepared for whatever you want to build, be it assembled PCBs, batteries, a stamped sheet metal case, custom screens or paper bags.
The talk focuses largely on manufacturing in China but will be applicable to other regions of the world and contain some guidance and caveats that come with different production regions.
