When you have limited funds and limited prototypes or finished products to give away for free so people help you out with testing and content creation, how do you choose who to give hardware to? It can be difficult to sort through who you has the appropriate skills, who will follow through, and who you want as part of your community.
This talk goes details some strategies on how to find skilled folks with the time and passion to be part of your community, how to get meaningful software and hardware contributions from folks in your community, and how to vet folks to make sure they are people you want to develop a creative relationship with.
