Chloe has been using Home Assistant since 2020. In this demonstration she’ll give a detailed overview of the many ways you can get started, covering many roadblocks to the next steps such as disambiguating Integrations, Add-Ons, automations, and the front-end. Going further with ESPHome provides a tightly integrated firmware builder to create your own hardware with ESP32 and a vast library of supported devices commonly used in Arudino projects. All without writing a line of C.
Chloe’s main installation is in her home of five years, a 1995 Chevy "shorty" school bus, so she will also include an overview of her work integrating her solar and other DC systems into Home Assistant with ESPHome.
