Progress Update

Hello WILD Outdoor Supporters,

We are 74% funded at this point and I would like to thank everyone who has placed an order. We are getting down to the nitty gritty with the sale ending on May 3rd. Please let your friends and family know what a great deal this is so that more wild Outdoor Apparel styles can be launched through the Crowd Supply venue. Sharing on Facebook and personally forwarding of this "flyer" is greatly appreciated. Again thanks to those who have placed an order and spread the word about Wild Outdoor Apparel.

Below is a brief history and inspiration for WILD Outdoor Apparel. Enjoy!

WILD Outdoor Apparel History

Migrant loggers in the U.P. of Michigan Circa 1900

This is my paternal grandmother’s family. They were migrant "cut and run" loggers in northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula region. They lived in logging camps and when the trees were all cut in that area they moved to another where the trees were standing. This side of the family carried on in this manner from the later part of 19th century into the early 20th. I suppose that it’s in part my heritage that has always made work wear one of my favorite clothing categories. Too bad they are in their Sunday best here and not their logger wear… Look for more work wear inspired styles from wildoutdoorapparel in the future.

My Great-Grandfather Elijah

Wild outdoor apparel is a technical outerwear brand, that works from the Mountain to the Bar. As such, you will see apparel suited for the ski slopes, the backcountry, the greater outdoors and the street. The technical street-wear is preformance oriented but strives to be interesting and versatile enough to double as street-wear. The Park Place Snap-Front is the first of the technical street collection. Waterproof, breathable, with 700 fill down are the technical parts; snap front, shirt collar in corduroy and flannel are the work parts. Would (still might) have surely qualified as Sunday’s best in the U.P.

Thanks again to all of my supporters, and as always, stay WILD.

Dan
