HealthyPi Move is an open hardware device that lets you track all your vital signs to a high degree of accuracy. But it’s not just another smartwatch with a heart rate monitor. It is a complete vital signs monitoring and recording device on your wrist that can measure electrocardiogram (ECG), photoplethysmogram (PPG), SpO₂, blood pressure (finger-based), EDA/GSR, heart rate variability (HRV), respiration rate, and even body temperature.

Powerful onboard processing is enabled by the Nordic nRF5340 dual-core SoC with Bluetooth Low Energy support, allowing for real-time signal processing and wireless data transmission. HealthyPi Move’s onboard flash allows reliable long-term recording in standard data formats for research applications.

Quantify Your Life, Own Your Data

HealthyPi Move is for anyone who wants to monitor their vital signs in real-time, record them for research purposes, or integrate vital signs monitoring into their projects. It has a simple, easy-to-use interface that allows you to view your vital signs in real time. You can easily record biometric data for later analysis, and export it for further study.

It is also designed to be flexible, with an open-source design that allows you to customize the device to suit your needs. Finally, HealthyPi Move lets you keep tabs on your health data without compromising on privacy, with no cloud interface required.

Open Source

HealthyPi Move’s design is open-source from the ground up. The hardware design files, firmware, and software are all open-source and will available on GitHub after the campaign ends. The design is based on the Nordic nRF5340 SoC, which is supported by the Zephyr RTOS.

The hardware design files are in Autodesk Eagle format, and the enclosure design files are in Fusion 360 format. The accompanying mobile app is also open-source and written in Flutter for cross-platform support.
