Post-Synthesis: Adventures in using FPGAs for Eurorack

In 2022 Schlappi Engineering released Three Body, a Eurorack phase and frequency modulation triple oscillator based on the Lattice ECP5 FPGA and the open source Yosys/Nextpnr toolchain.
This talk will recap the development of that oscillator from iCEBreaker FPGA and ULX3S development boards, through release and manufacturing, and then discuss the various pitfalls and discoveries we have made in prototyping since then.
