Getting vintage computers on the "modern web" is a huge hassle. Websites don’t load, security and compatibility issues abound and a whole host of other headaches. Compu-Global-Hyper-Mega-Net is a community run "retro internet" service aiming to emulate the "web 1.0" era. We provide a network for retro computing enthusiasts to connect their old computers to each other to run old games, create vintage-themed websites, and generally play around with old software in a way that is easy to set up and fun to use.
Compu-Global-Hyper-Mega-Net is a project by Cursed Silicon, who runs a small YouTube channel where they tinker with old computers. Cursed Silicon can frequently be found on Mastodon talking about old tech, raccoons, and whatever else interests them in the moment.
