Location

Teardown 2026 will be held at the Jupiter, a cool Portland hotel + motel with several beautiful event spaces.

The Jupiter is two neighboring properties: Jupiter NEXT, a modern hotel with event spaces and a private outdoor atrium, and Jupiter Hotel, a refurbished 1960s motel with indoor and outdoor event spaces. Teardown 2026 will be held across both locations. Registration will be on the ground floor of Jupiter NEXT.

Accommodation

Our discounted room block at the Jupiter Original has now sold out. There are still rooms available at Jupiter NEXT. Send enquiries to sales@jupiterhotel.com and mention you’re part of Teardown. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option there is a motel just across the street called Eastside Lodge. There are also many different hotels north of the venue, near the Convention Center and Moda Center.

Transportation

Air

If you are traveling by air to the conference, the nearest international airport is Portland International Airport (PDX).

TriMet MAX light rail can be boarded directly at the airport terminal, which serves many neighborhoods within the Portland metro area. Rental cars, Uber, and Lyft are also available directly at the airport.

Train & Bus

Portland Union Station serves as both Amtrak train station and Grayhound bus stop.

TriMet MAX light rail can be boarded closeby at the Union Station stop on NW 6th and Hoyt. The MAX light rail system can be used to access many neighborhoods within the Portland metro area.

Public Transit

The Jupiter is close to several major bus routes, including the 12, 19, 20, 70, and 6. Tickets cost $2.80 for an adult for a 2.5 hour period, including transfers to other forms of local transit. Pay on the bus with your phone, a contactless card, or the HOP app.

The Jupiter is a four minute walk from the SE Grand & E Burnside TriMet streetcar stations, which are on the A Loop and B Loop lines. Tickets cost $2 for an adult. Pay on the streetcar with your phone, a contactless card, or the HOP app.

The Jupiter is a fifteen minute walk from the NE 7th Ave TriMet MAX light rail stations, which are on the Red, Blue and Green lines. Tickets cost $2.80 for an adult for a 2.5 hour period, including transfers to other forms of local transit. Pay on the platform with your phone, a contactless card, or the HOP app.

Parking

There is an underground parking lot at the Jupiter and a gravel parking lot is located one block from the main venue. Exact details to be confirmed.

There is a limited amount of on street parking in the surrounding area, some of which is free, some is paid hourly.
