Kaleidoscopic Comfort

Kaleidoscopic Comfort is part a series of disc-shaped sound-reactive art pieces that combine RGB LEDs with textiles, to produce hypnotic color-changing effects. Several thousand individually addressable pixels are arranged in a pattern with six-way symmetry, and diffused by a fabric overlay. The piece is about 6’ in diameter, and mounted on a round metal frame. Earlier pieces of this collection were featured in the Mirror Mirror temporary exhibition at the San Diego International Airport from February 2025 through June 2026.
