Quiet Storm by Los Datos (aka Jesse Mejía) is a quietly powerful generative sound and LED experience providing space for contemplation.

Known for building LED experiences at Hopscotch, teaching creative coding at PCC, and making music under various names, Mejía presents an intimate sensory experience to provide a break from the chaos of talks and workshops.

Quiet Storm was buiilt using custom teensy code driving LED strips behind frosted acrylic. ‘Hypnotable’ built by Zach Archer and modified by Mejía.

Generative Audio designed by Mejía light animations from MaxMSP patch running on a Raspberry Pi (cross compiled through RNBO).
