Retro computing, workstation style

Rob S
Installation (Unattended)
Location

TBD

This installation will have a Raspberry RP2040-based board, with 32 MB HyperRAM, monochrome graphics, emulated DEC mouse/keyboard, and SD card-based storage. The board runs a modified version of Dmitry Grinberg’s DECstation emulator, at roughly DECstation 3100 performance levels when overclocked to 300 MHz. Shown will be typical workstation graphics demos, such as worms and Xmaze. A prototype of the next generation version, the DECstation2350, may also be shown, depending on how that project progresses.
