Learn why and how to drag-n-drop load an FPGA with a microcontroller using the UF2 USB flash format. This will follow a project that started on Hackaday and evolved into a variety of hardware, software, and workshops up to the most recent incarnation in the CycloMod SoM. This will also include a deep dive into the missing manuals of Raspberry Pi microcontroller ROM UF2 implementation that were discovered in the firmware development. It will also demonstrate how to abuse the PSRAM interface in the RP2350 for communication with an FPGA.
