We are at a pivotal point where powering most of our devices via USB-C is actually a reality, but you may need to modify them and consider whether this makes sense for you. With higher voltages becoming available in the PD spec, the concepts learned in off-grid installations are starting to map to USB-C power-able devices. Currentl,y this can make a lot of sense with devices under 100w/24v but the tools to push this to 240w/48v are yet to truly hit the maker market. This could change by the time this talk is presented.
