SlimeVR is an IMU based wireless full body tracking solution that strikes a nice compromise between DIY accessibility and output quality. Started as a small hobbyist project, Slime quickly found an audience, shattering crowdfunding expectations at Crowd Supply. With almost 180 contributors on Github alone, 75K Discord members, and five years of commits under our belt, Slime is now back again for a third year at Teardown to show off our new lightweight Butterfly variant of Slimes. Better tracking performance, smoother setup, and, more importantly, smaller!
