X1Plus Expander fans,

This is going to be a very short update, but it’s an update that I expect many of you will be happy to receive.

Earlier today, I drove a box full of 48 Expanders over to the UPS Store! My suspicion is that this means that about 48 of you will start receiving your orders in the next week or two. If you haven’t done this already, please verify your Crowd Supply account details! Updating your shipping address helps avoid delays and gets your orders delivered successfully to you. Once your order details have been sent out by our warehouse team for processing, it can be hard or impossible to re-route a shipment. Please contact Crowd Supply Support with any shipping questions or concerns.

This also means that firmware is getting very close — at least, it’s close enough that I’m feeling OK about the idea of having a release candidate by the time the first of you receive orders. Hooray!

Of course, I am well aware that more than 48 of you bought Expander (thank you, thank you, thank you!!). My hope is that, once Mouser verifies that they have no problem with the first box I sent out, then I’ll be able to send out about 50-100 per week from then on out. At some point in the future I hope to set up an order tracker so you can punch in your order number and see where in the queue you are (thanks to Esden and the Glasgow team for paving the way on that!), but for now, I’m going to focus on testing and boxing up Expanders for y’all :-)
