Hi Backers and Community,
First off, a huge thank you for the incredible engagement on our first update about pricing and our mission. Your discussions and support have been incredibly motivating for our team.
This week, we’re excited to take a major step in our commitment to openness and collaboration. We’re releasing the complete hardware design files for the official AIM-IO Carrier Board.
Open-Source Hardware Design: Get Building!
You can now access the full package, which includes:
- Schematic: Full circuit diagram for easy reference.
- PCB Gerber Files: Ready for sending to any PCB manufacturer (like PCBWay or JLCPCB).
- 2D Drawing: Mechanical dimensions for enclosure design.
We Want to Hear from YOU!
This release is about empowering you to build and innovate. To help us prioritize what to open-source next, please tell us:
- What other documentation or software would be most helpful for your project? (e.g., 3D model Step files, specific driver guides, Yocto build instructions?)
- What are you planning to build with the AIM7? Are you working on a robotic arm, an edge AI server, a commercial product, or a fun DIY project? Sharing your use case inspires us and the entire community.
Thank you for sharing your ideas, we can’t wait to see what you create!
