The first batch of Blip boards is with Crowd Supply, coming straight from our contract manufacturer, who also did our production testing.

This batch was actually manufactured some time ago, and our demonstration firmware, which sends all sensor data over BLE to our phone app, or to your browser to show pretty graphs wasn’t ready, so that firmware needs to be flashed on to Blip to use the App or WebBluetooth demos.

We have written the instructions along with the download link for firmware in our documentation portal. Before you can use gdb to flash the firmware, you will need gdb from a arm-none-eabi-gcc toolchain.
