We’ve been working for a while to get manufacturing of the production unit underway and, partly due to the heat of that work and partly because we want to give you good news, updates were put on pause. Now that all the manufacturing issues are resolved (from our side), it’s a good time to update our backers.

The first piece of good news is all the components have been sourced and there are no ‘out of stock’ components. This was quite a challenging task, as we had anticipated, but it could not be tackled before we were ready to place the order with the supplier, as their stock levels could rise and fall unexpectedly.

The second piece of good news is our fulfillment plan is going as expected and we are quite confident we will meet the date provided earlier to our backers. Anticipating the current delays due to global conditions, we had already put some extra margin in the fulfillment date, and that is helping us not to have to delay it.

We expect our first production sample at the end of this month and once it passes all of our QC tests, the complete batch will be produced, tested, and dispatched to Crowd Supply for fulfillment.
