WebScreen as a SmartHome Monitor and IoT Dashboard

by Eleo Basili

We’re excited to share a major milestone for WebScreen: direct, router-free video streaming from IoT cameras.

Our latest demo features a Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32S3 Sense board streaming live video directly to a WebScreen using the ESP-NOW protocol. This peer-to-peer connection simplifies setups and opens up new possibilities for portable monitoring solutions.

This adds an alternative connection method to our existing MQTT support, which allows WebScreen to seamlessly integrate with a wide array of IoT devices in your home, office, or studio, creating a unified dashboard for your entire smart ecosystem.

Our vision is to make WebScreen powerful for makers yet accessible to everyone. Your feedback is crucial in guiding us on this journey.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we’re building the future of simple and powerful smart displays.
