Demand for Riotee continues to be strong, and after our initial batch sold out, we’ve produced a brand-new run so you can keep building your battery-free projects.

The Riotee Board, the Riotee Solar Shield, and the Riotee Capacitor Shield are now all back in stock and ready for your next projects.

Along the way, we learned that the Riotee Board has been by far the most popular option, while the Riotee Module saw much lower demand than expected.

Based on this feedback, we redesigned the Riotee Board and now assemble the key components directly onto the board instead of using the separate Module. This significantly streamlined the manufacturing process and improved production yield and efficiency.

Below are a few pictures from the final step in the manufacturing chain: assembling the EMI shield onto the board using low-temperature solder paste.

For existing and future Riotee Board users, nothing changes: schematics, pinout, and software compatibility remain fully identical. You can drop the new Riotee Board into your existing projects without any modifications.
