Bring OMSI’s Portable Planetarium to Schools Across Oregon

OMSI isn’t just for Portlanders. Between our camps in Newport and Fossil, OR, and outreach programs that reach schools in every county in the state, we are spreading the wonder of science far and wide.

One of our favorite in-school programs, OMSI’s portable planetarium, brings the night sky inside. Our experienced educators lead a journey through the cosmos, discussing the latest discoveries as well as the history of both indigenous cultural and western scientific perspectives on astronomy.

Help us extend our reach with this unique in-school experience! Your donation of:

• $10 supports a portable planetarium experience for 2 students
• $50 supports a portable planetarium experience for 10 students
• $100 supports a portable planetarium experience for 20 students
