Project update 1 of 8
We just received the first boards for the thingSoC Grovey GPIO board, and they look great. We shot a short video to show a brief overview of the capabilities. One of the best things about this board is the ability to turn off and on the power to each of the four (4) Grove connectors, in order to be able to turn off sensors and controllers to save battery power when you are not using them. The board uses the powerful SX1509 GPIO expander chip from SemTech, which allow use to connect light, switches, relays, and even supports a complete numeric keypad for data entry.
