SmartLED Shield for Teensy 4 Now Shipping from Crowd Supply and Distributors Worldwide!

by Louis B

By now all backers should have received shipping notifications and many will have received their shields! SmartMatrix Library 4.0 is released on GitHub and is available on Arduino Library Manager.

I’ve been focusing on writing more code and documentation over the past week. The Fadecandy port is now ready to share, though work needs to be done to make sure it compiles on multiple operating systems. The new home for SmartMatrix Library documentation is the SmartMatrix Wiki and I’m continuing to add content there.

Adding Distributors and Shipping Worldwide

To make it easier for you to get SmartLED Shield where you normally shop for electronics boards, SmartLED Shield for Teensy 4 is now available from more distributors, including some that are able to ship worldwide. See where you can purchase SmartLED Shield here.

Sharing Projects and Keeping In Touch

I’d love to see what you make with your SmartLED Shields! If you feel like sharing, you can post to SmartMatrix Community, add your project to the SmartMatrix Wiki Projects Page, or send me an email (see link below).

If you have any questions or need any help, please post in the SmartMatrix Community

I hope you enjoy your SmartLED Shields and thank you for your help in launching this project!
