The e-paper board features extremely low power consumption and is capable of sleeping for months on a single battery charge.

The device’s display supports partial updates, grayscale, and quick refresh cycles, including a 1.61-second refresh time in black and white mode, and a 1.81-second refresh time in grayscale mode. Inkplate 10 includes a microSD card reader for storing images and a USB Type-C port for power and programming.
