Our Campaign Is Live!

by Robin R

Using tweezers to place SMD components always felt a little silly to me. (Extracting a part from the tape on which it was shipped, then dumping it onto a table just so you could pick it up again?) So I set out to optimize that workflow. Pixel Pump uses suction and tiny nozzles—just like the automated machines for which SMD tape was designed—to help you pick and place SMD components more quickly and more easily.

One and a half years later (after loads of development, extensive testing, and a ton of fun), I am excited to be launching this campaign! If you love designing products and assembling PCBs, I have no doubt you’ll love Pixel Pump.

Thank you for your help bringing this project to life. I can’t wait to see what you build with it!

Happy Hacking,
Robin
