70 Meters No Sweat - The Parasite’s Wi-Fi Laughs at Distance

by Omar Youssef

Hey everyone,

I hope you’re all doing great—because I sure am today! This was the first time I tested the Diabolic Parasite outdoors to see how my recent RF performance tweaks worked out.

The mission: see how far the Diabolic Parasite could push its Wi-Fi after my RF tweaks.
The battlefield: a busy city street.
The stakes: caffeine-fueled chaos.

Considering the tiny, cramped PCB stuffed with components, I wasn’t expecting miracles. But after adjusting the matching network components… well, I was amazed.

My wife took her position inside Starbucks—coffee in hand, laptop open, Parasite plugged in. I crossed the street, 70 meters away, pretending to mind my own business.

Result? Signal solid. Response instant. I could jump around the web interface, reload, save, execute, and even pull live keylogs without a hiccup.

And remember—we’re talking about a crowded Wi-Fi environment packed with access points. Thanks to the tweaked RF design and the Parasite’s smart auto-channel feature (which picks the least congested channel before launching its access point), the performance was rock solid.

I’ve included some images showing the approximate distance. No, it’s not a cinematic video—sadly, my “film crew” was just me and my wife enjoying coffee and having fun with the Parasite.

But the target was achieved: the RF performance is nothing to worry about anymore.

Good luck out there—now you can take your Parasite further than your coffee habit!
