Next-Level Keystroke Reflection

by Omar Youssef

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to announce that the Diabolic Parasite campaign is now fully funded! A massive thank you to each and every backer for your incredible support — this wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Now let’s dive into one of the most exciting parts of the device…

Why Diabolic Parasite’s Keystroke Reflection Stands in a League of Its Own?

One of the standout features of the Diabolic Parasite is its truly covert keystroke-reflection exfiltration — but what exactly sets it apart?

Most keyboards receive LED status responses (like Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock) from the host computer. If you plug two keyboards in, toggling one of these keys on either keyboard changes the LED state on both — it’s a bidirectional behavior.

Now here’s the clever part:

Some might initially expect that the Diabolic Parasite achieves stealth by completely blocking LED signals. It sounds plausible — cutting off the LED responses from the host to avoid drawing attention. But for sharp-eyed users, this behavior could actually raise suspicion. If they press Num Lock and the LED never lights up, they may start to sense something’s off — possibly even call in IT to investigate.

But Diabolic Parasite takes it to a whole new level

It doesn’t just block or passively ignore LED signals — it actively manipulates them. The device smartly preserves normal LED behavior to avoid suspicion and only suppresses the LED response at the exact moment when covert exfiltration is happening. It also captures a snapshot of the LED states just before exfiltration begins, and once the process is complete, the Diabolic Parasite seamlessly restores those LEDs to their original state — ensuring the user never notices any unexpected changes or irregular behavior. This level of subtlety makes it incredibly hard to detect, even for those who are laser-focused on system behavior.

You can see this stealthy feature in action in the video below:

This is just one example of the next-level engineering behind the Diabolic Parasite — a truly covert tool, built to blend in flawlessly during real-world operations where even the slightest irregularity can raise red flags.

Haven’t backed it yet? There’s still a chance to grab one at the limited campaign price before it jumps post-launch. Don’t miss it!

Thank you again for being part of this journey — more updates to come soon!
