The next 150 units are headed over the Crowd Supply’s fulfillment system this week. That means you can expect to receive a shipping notification if you ordered before around Q1 ‘26. With this shipment, we’ll be close to fully fulfilling all the orders for our original set of Zerowriter Ink. Now would be a good time to make sure the shipping address in your Crowd Supply account is up-to-date.

Hardware Files Released

The hardware files for Zerowriter Ink are now available, thanks to our friends at Soldered Electronics. You’ll find it in our GitHub repo, where I have already started posting some code and utilities. Currently, the source design files and Kicad files are available for the keyboard, the power board, and the custom Inkplate for Zerowriter Ink.

Last up will be software. Keep an eye on GitHub, it will be posted there soon.

Custom Firmware for Zerowriter Ink: Korean

An awesome project: Dievesa, on GitHub, built a custom writing machine, built on top of Zerowriter Ink hardware. Why? So they can work in some currently unsupported languages, like Korean or Turkish. Check out their repo.
