Magnetic Breakaway Cable

We have good news and we have bad news. The good news is that our suppliers have begun the next manufacturing run of our BusKill magnetic breakaway cables.

The bad news is:

1. The cost per unit roughly doubled since our campaign kickoff due to rising material costs.

2. A bad breakout of the COVID-19 Omicron variant spread in our manufacturer’s city. The government enforced lockdown and the factory production line is suspended.

Delays in the supply chain will likely result in delays in our shipment to you :( We’ll keep you updated here.

3PL

Only two of the five kitting/third-party logistics (3PL) providers responded to our inquiry. One was quite expensive. We have concerns about the second’s ability to meet our quality requirements. Communication continues as we try to find a suitable supplier.
