After a lot of hard work and several hardware revisions, I am proud to announce the launch of the crowdfunding campaign for ANAVI Light Controller. The Light Controller is a certified open source hardware development board for controlling 12 V RGB LED strips and reading data from I2C sensors for light, temperature, humidity and gesture detection.
The launch of this campaign was deferred so we could make improvements to the hardware based on user feedback on our prototypes. Following recommendations from the community, the ESP8266 module was rotated 90 degrees from its previous position. Now the antenna provides better quality and strength of the WiFi signal. Revision 1.3 of ANAVI Light Controller has already been certified by the Open Source Hardware Association with UID BG000005.
We hope you’ll jump in and help us bring this entirely open source project to life!
ANAVI Play pHAT is a super simple, low cost open source hardware add-on board for Raspberry Pi with buttons for retro gaming and slots for up to 3 I2C sensor modules.
