Thanks for all the feedback so far from those of you who have already received your units, it’s so cool to see Tiliquas finally out in the wild!

Just a quick update on Batch Two (that is, all orders from November onward). Originally I was hoping to have these on their way to you by the end of January. However, despite having planned in a three week buffer for "unexpected things", this has been eaten up by the CM taking quite a bit longer to produce the PCBAs than last time and by a few parts getting stuck at customs for a longer period of time. Naturally, I was calling them every day to try and speed things along, but alas there’s only so much one can do!

In any case, as of today I have finally received in my lab the last part I was waiting on for Batch Two, which means I can now build, test, and box up the second batch. To speed things up, I did as much testing as possible on the parts I already have, but at this point I think we’re looking at (best-case) mid-to-end-of-February (including the shipping time from Germany to the US, customs processing, and then from the US to backers).

On the plus side, this unplanned delay gave me the space to work on some new features (I currently have a prototype of an on-device sampling and grain playback bitstream), you’ll find some details on that in our Matrix channel if you’re interested. At the same time, I’ve been making more progress on USB host support which will enable future features like reading/writing from thumb-drives.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to ask. In any case, thanks for hanging in there and know that I’m working my hardest to get these out the door as fast as I can!
