The Maker LED Display Campaign is Now Live!

Borna, Bruno, and David are very excited to let you know that Maker Display campaign is now live!

We started this project almost two years ago because we wanted to display data from the Internet on some kind of a display. We made it to be able to track a Youtube subscribers milestone at the moment we have reached 500 subscribers. Later, while the Bitcoin-mania lasted, we reprogrammed the display to show the current Bitcoin price.

Devices that were on the market needed just too much assembly work, too much searching for the proper code and the proper connections examples. If you wanted to show something for fun, quick and easy, it just wasn’t possible without spending the whole afternoon. With so much other work, we just wished it would be possible. We took the example from our Youtube and Bitcoin tracker and transformed it to ready to use, plug-and-play, easy-to-program device named Maker Display!

Want to know a bit more about e-r.io? David started the company while at secondary school at the age of 16 when he made the first Croduino (Arduino compatible) board. One thing led to another, today the company is a team of 3 full-time employees and 5 university part-time students with an average age of 23, working and developing open-source projects for makers community. We currently have around 50 own designs that we regularly produce on our small production line in Croatia. We are genuinely delighted with the possibility to launch a project like this on a worldwide scene and excited to see the reactions!

A huge thank you from us goes to everyone who supports us!
