We just passed an important milestone: The manufacturer has completed PCB assembly and is about to ship the PCBs to Excamera Labs in California.

Below you can see a couple of PCBs with their LCD attached. The manufacturer and I had some discussion on the placement of the Kapton tape. So many details!

Here’s a bare unit, running the initial test firmware:

Our manufacturer assembles the PCBs, and also does an initial test on the units before shipping them to us. Then we retest them, and load the final firmware. After that we finish the assembly, package the units, and ship them to Mouser.

Everything is on schedule, so you should have your TermDriver orders very soon.
