We've Made It!

Firstly, a HUGE thank you to all our backers.

With your support we have hit 100% of our campaign target and are now on our way to making our vision of democratising wireless communication a reality.

Right from the beginning of the campaign we have been blown away by the support and excitement from you, the community. Again - Thank you. We could not have done this without you!

You guys have had the knowhow and the vision to back a project of this kind. You could see that you were not just buying a board, but were proving that there is enough momentum to start this movement.

You, the community, will be leading and determining where this all goes.

This campaign has been hugely ambitious right from the very start. What we as a team, with you as a community, have been doing has been unique. We have lead an aggressive roadmap around RF technology and with the success of the LimeSDR campaign we are determined to build on this momentum, and are committed to making ever more powerful SDR technology available to an ever wider community of users and developers.

An unusual feature of this campaign has been the support of EE. This is the first time that a leading industry corporation has so publicly backed a crowd-funding campaign of this sort. Their support of the campaign has been because of our commitment to open source and the potential for innovation when a high performance technology of this kind is made available to everyone.  In our view, with this mindset, EE will continue being the leader as the most innovative operator in the UK, as they have been so in being the first and the best in providing 4G coverage in the country.

This is only the start of the journey and one which we look forward to you joining us on, as together we work to democratise wireless innovation.

LimeSDR

The LimeSDR is based on Lime Microsystem’s latest generation of field programmable RF transceiver technology, combined with FPGA and microcontroller chipsets. These connect to a computer via USB3. LimeSDR then delivers the wireless data and the CPU provides the computing power required to process the incoming signals, and to generate the data to be transmitted by the LimeSDR to all other devices.

GPIO Board

This stackable expansion board for the LimeSDR provides individually settable, bi-directional level-shifted I/O for FPGA GPIO 0-7. Each I/O has a high-voltage and power Darlington drive stage suitable for inductive loads, such as coaxial relays. LimeSDR not included.
