Making Progress on the FreeEEG32

by Joshua Brewster

Since we announced this Crowd Supply campaign back in October, we’ve made quite a bit of progress developing support for the system. We’ve added various demonstrations of its applicabiltiy, research interest, and realtime analysis support to our increasingly fully featured Brains@Play software.

For example, check out Dmitry’s application of 8 channel EEG bandpower data to a Generative Adversarial Network to modify these anime images:

Bernard has also made quite a few advancements in his headset designs, including noise-free optical ports, 14 auxillary ports for the unused channels on the headsets, and continued refinement of the 19 channel net design.

Next week, we’ll show some live 19 channel acquisition with Bernard’s headset.
