Lost in Translation

by Gili Yankovitch

At the beginning of December 2025, all 250 Sword of Secrets units were shipped to the Mouser warehouse as planned. From there, things became significantly less straightforward.

The shipment was held in US customs for close to a month with no clear explanation. Despite correct documentation and repeated attempts to resolve the situation, a strange mix-up during the customs release process ultimately caused the shipment to be rejected and sent back to its origin. After weeks of uncertainty, the swords finally made their way home.

The good news is that all 250 units returned relatively safely. No losses, no catastrophic damage, just a great deal of unnecessary friction. Right now, we’re working closely with Crowd Supply and Mouser to line up a smoother shipping method that we know will actually work. The re-shipment was just picked up by the carrier and the swords are again on their way, with an anticipated shipping date to all backers in mid-February.

Thank you for your patience while we untangle this.
