Fully Funded & Hardware Details

First and foremost, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has backed! With your support, we hit the funding goal on day 2 of the campaign! Now, a week after the launch, we’ve hit 150% of the campaign target. Just incredible! We’re very excited about the reception the Dash has gotten and we can’t wait to see the amazing UIs you all make.

A few details we’d light to highlight about the Omega2 Dash hardware:

  • The centerpiece of the Omega2 Dash design is the Omega2S module. Just like the

Omega2 Pro and Omega2 LTE boards that were launched here on Crowd Supply, the Omega2 Dash uses the Omega2S+ variant. It provides the CPU, 128 MB RAM memory, 32 MB flash storage, and the WiFi Radio. Visit our site for more information on the Omega2S modules.

  • Omega2S modules are available for purchase in volume directly from Onion

as well as our distributors Mouser and Digikey.

  • We've had a few questions about the longevity of the 3.2" TFT display. We're pleased to report that

it’s rated for a hefty 50,000 hours minimum MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) under normal operation.

We’ll have more updates for you in the coming weeks. Stay tuned and tell your friends!
