Zigbee To MQTT Ethernet PoE-Powered Bridge In Arduino?!?

by Jan Hybl, Aleksei K

Hello everyone,

First things first, we want to thank all the backers for their support and questions; it is great motivation to continue to make the project even better!

Since some of you asked about Zigbee usage in Arduino, We’ve prepared a proof-of-concept Zigbee to MQTT bridge example which allows you to easily control your Zigbee light bulbs/smart sockets. The Esp32-C6-Bug + Esp32-Eth-Bug combo works as a Zigbee Coordinator, and connects to the MQTT broker via Ethernet. We were surprised that even some commercial smart sockets like Sonoff s26r2zbtpe worked out of the box!

Stay tuned for our future updates :)
