Thank you to all backers for your patience while we get Sensything ready to ship.

This time around, we have a surprise in the form of the addition of an on-board datalogging feature. Now you can also save data on the board itself with the new microSD card slot on the bottom of the board.

This was added at the last moment based on user request and feedback. Now you can log sensor data with or without a wireless connection or a phone nearby.

Why on-board storage?

On-board storage adds the following advantages:

• Reliability - save data even when wireless is out of range or fails
• Faster transfer - download the data easily from the microSD card directly to your computer
• Lower power - for long term datalogging in remote places, store more data with a longer-running battery by turning off the wireless functionality

Why microSD removable storage?

• You fix the size - choose the capacity of the SD card based on your requirements
• Easy to retrieve data - no need to install any specific drivers or programs, simply insert the card in your card reader

The firmware will be updated to use this functionality soon.

There will also be a small delay in shipping. We plan to start shipping to Crowd Supply for shipment to backers early next week, which means that your board should be on the way soon! Be sure to check your shipping address and adjust if necessary - this can be done through your Crowd Supply account.

Note: The overall price of the Board/kit will not be affected by this feature addition!
