Thank you for your continued support of our campaign! We’ve noticed that by far the most popular purchasing option is the version with the enclosure and battery, so here are some more details on those!

3D-Printed Enclosure

We custom-design and print our enclosures ourselves. They are sleek and designed to fit into any environment, much like a black picture frame. We’re printing the enclosures on a new, large Prusa 3D printer using black PLA filament.

The enclosure features access to the power and wake buttons for easy device control, as well as a USB-C port for charging and programming. On the back of the enclosure, we’ve added keyhole hangers so you can mount your Inkplate on a wall in either landscape or portrait mode. And yes, for any creative modding and custom enclosure ideas, we’ll make the .stl file available for download.

Li-Ion Battery

Our battery systems are some of our most popular products. This version includes a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery with built-in protection, allowing your Inkplate 13SPECTRA sketches to run for months!

This is the same battery we ship with our Inkplate 10, and it has proven to be very reliable in regular use and charging. It connects via a two-pin JST connector, so if you have other Soldered boards with the same connector, it will be compatible.
