We finally feel ready for launch. Many iterations have come and gone, many configurations have been tested, many hours of audio have been streamed using all three models, and many log lines have been scrutinized.

The result is ESParagus, a compact, lightweight, fast-booting, multi-media hardware client with a high-quality digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that’s capable of streaming audio from a phone, a laptop, or the Internet to your amplifier or directly to your speakers. ESParagus is extremely Home Assistant friendly, making it the perfect "Smart Audio" brick for your home-automation Lego Castle.

And ESParagus is open hardware, so you can also use it as a development platform, leveraging our schematics and design files to add features, prototype your own creations, and fix anything that breaks.
