Teardown 2024 Sponsor Survival Guide

Thank you for sponsoring Teardown 2024! It is your generous support that makes this event possible for our community of engineers, makers, and creatives. We hope to see you in person, but we also understand that’s not always possible, so there are a number of ways that your company can participate, both attended and not.

Event Passes

To access your event passes, please share the names and email addresses of those who will attend to catherine.ross@crowdsupply.com. If you are not planning to attend, you can either donate your event passes to our student fund (which will earn an extra public thank you during the event), or give them away through your project hub (which we will coordinate and promote).

Demo Table

• Topics: product demo, recruiting, swag, etc.
• Attendees: some continuous traffic, peak traffic during breaks
• Schedule: generally the entire event, but unstaffed times are fine
• Materials: standard 3'x6' folding table and two chairs will be provided
• Details: Submit your demo table details

Workshop

• Topics: hands-on, technical topics work best
• Attendees: 10-40, first come first served
• Schedule: 1-3 hours at assigned time and place, one or more times
• Materials: ideally free for all attendees, loaned items can be returned
• Details: Submit your workshop details

Talk

• Topics: technical topics work best
• Attendees: up to 50, depending on location capacity
• Schedule: 25 minutes or 50 minutes at assigned time, day, and place
• Materials: project, mic, speakers, Wi-Fi, and power all provided
• Details: Submit your talk details

Swag & Giveaways

• Goodies bag: Every attendee will be given a small, metal lunchbox containing sponsor swag, event programming, and other goodies. The lunchbox has internal dimensions of roughly 7 cm x 18 cm x 14 cm. To be included in the goodies bag, let us know what items you had in mind and their dimensions. We will need 350 items by June 15 to ensure inclusion.
• Swag table: First come first served, no size limit, can be a limited quantity.
• Raffle: Higher-end swag or dev kits for daily announced giveaway.
