XCORE-VISION is a compact, low-power camera platform that lets you capture, process, and understand visual data directly on the device no cloud required, no heavyweight systems to manage. Powered by XMOS’s XCORE® architecture, it brings deterministic, parallel processing to embedded vision, making real-time AI not just possible, but practical.

What if building real-time vision systems didn’t require a full Linux stack, complex FPGA design, or endless tuning just to get predictable performance? XCORE-VISION is the board that lets you get incredible performance without unnecessary complexity.

A Complete Vision Platform, Not Just a Board

With XCORE-VISION, your machine vision applications can stay local, responsive, and efficient.

You can capture and process camera data in real time, detect and classify objects, and even identify faces—all directly on the device. And because it’s a complete device with a built-in camera, you can start developing vision-enabled applications right out of the box. Whether that’s a new robot or an industrial equipment monitoring system, XCORE-VISION can help you make your next project even better.

Because everything runs locally, there’s no need to rely on cloud connectivity, which means lower latency and greater privacy. Its design enables parallel workloads, so you can combine modalities to create richer, more intelligent systems.

XCORE-VISION sits comfortably between simple camera modules and complex Linux-based systems required for more demanding tasks. It gives users the efficiency and elegance of the former without the power consumption and complexity of the latter. It delivers the real-time, deterministic performance you need for edge AI, without the burden of an operating system or hardware description languages. The result is a platform that is efficient, predictable, and straightforward to program, ideal for turning ideas into working systems quickly.
