Potential Algorithm Support

The list of supported cryptocurrency algorithms shown on the campaign page – and highlighted in recent demonstrations – is far from complete. Based on our evaluation, there are hundreds of additional algorithms that are compatible with UltraMiner hardware. We hope to continue working with the community to bring those high volume algorithms to life. Examples include:

Second Prototype Run in Progress

We have finalized the design changes required for our next prototype run and are in contact with Advanced Assembly (AAPCB) about scheduling production.

In addition to resolving previously identified design issues, we:

  1. Routed additional GPIO/HPIO pins to breakout connecters
  2. Re-arranged the top side component placement to improve UltraMiner's compatibility with various LGA 115x cooler designs
  3. Added mechanical drills for supporting 40x40 mm heatsinks (Legacy Northbridge coolers)
  4. Increased the current limit on the core power rails and improved startup power sequencing

We believe this design to be production-ready. We will be releasing more information, and video, once we receive the boards. So stay tuned!
