Hi again everyone,
There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes at Trail Butter regarding the Squeeze Pack that we wanted to bring you all up to speed on.
Things are definitely headed in the right direction. Check out the filled prototype!
Through the process of realizing the Squeeze Pack we’ve been able to connect with food experts from the area that will keep TB locally made, while also supporting the local economy, which we’re very excited about.
Our local copacker, who will be making the TB and filling the Squeeze Packs, is still on board, with an R+D batch in the works as we speak. All to make sure the Trail Butter can process properly through their filling equipment.
We’re also finalizing artwork and working with our Portland packaging supplier to finish up on the pouch design.
Once these final refinements to recipe and packaging are made, we’ll be placing the order for empty Squeeze Pack pouches, which will take 4-6 weeks to be made and shipped to us for filling.
We regret that the Squeeze Pack probably won’t be arriving at your doorstep until the tail end of summer/early fall, but are on the other hand very excited by the local team we’ve been able to build through this process, that will allow us to grow and deliver a quality Portland-based product for hopefully many years to come.
