Radio Interface Board Enhancement

We’ve heard your feedback and are delighted to announce a significant upgrade to the radio interface board, fondly known as the Sidekick. By incorporating an additional TRRS jack, we have broadened the range of radios Boondock Echo can interface with. This modification means that if your radio has an audio interface, Boondock Echo can now connect to it.

We’ve sourced a manufacturer to provide high-quality 3.5-mm TRRS-to-K1 connectors, making Boondock Echo compatible with Anytone, Baofeng, Kenwood, and many other radio brands. Scanner enthusiasts can use a traditional 3.5-mm-male-to-3.5-mm-male TRS audio cable. Other radios might require a custom cable, or a Digi-Rig-style cable, but we’ve got you covered! 🎧

Quality Assurance Through First-Article Testing

Quality is at the forefront of our mission. Before we proceed with full-scale production of Boondock Echo, we are conducting a small-batch run of devices, referred to as first articles. This step is crucial for ensuring that every unit meets our high standards of functionality and reliability. By meticulously testing these first articles, we are laying the groundwork for a product that you can trust and rely on.
