All our models were designed and developed by our founder and lifelong musician, Norman Casiano, to achieve the best sound attainable using the highest quality parts on the market. Norman’s grandfather, a talented musician in his own right, first put a guitar in Norman’s hands when he was seven years old. Norman has been playing ever since. By the age of 15, Norman was a guitarist for a renowned international pop group from the 80s, and later played with several other artists.
As a professional musician, Norman saw firsthand how talented musicians were being limited by the tools they were using, all because they couldn’t afford the more expensive instruments that could enhance their performance. It’s from this frustration that the seed for Casiano World Class Guitars was planted over 15 years ago. We started working in earnest six months ago to make this dream a reality.
Now, after completing the designs, speaking with dozens of manufacturers, and carefully sourcing all the materials, we’re finally ready to start production of the first guitars: the LPS1 and STF1. The funds raised from this campaign will go toward the final tooling changes needed for manufacturing and will result in the very first batch of Casiano World Class Guitars.
What distinguishes Casianos from other guitars? Right away, you’ll notice a large difference in price. Our LPS1 will retail for only $800 and is being offered during this campaign for only $700. A comparable Gibson Les Paul can cost \$2,400 to \$3,400 even though the materials are virtually the same.
Similarly, our STF1 will retail for only $750 and is being offered during this campaign for only $600. A comparable Fender Stratocaster can cost \$1200 to \$1600.
Price isn’t the only difference. For example, our STF1 is the first of its kind to be made with a set neck (i.e. the guitar is all one piece), which improves the sound quality. All other similar models have a bolt-on neck (i.e. the guitar is made in two pieces), which can result in undesirable vibrations.
One distinctive feature of our guitar models is the change in headstock. All Casiano guitars will have our trademark “C” cut into the headstock, making our guitars easy to distinguish.

Don’t get the wrong impression. Casiano World Class Guitars is not about cloning guitars. Our guitars are actually enhanced and improved versions of the world famous Gibson Les Paul Standard and the Fender Stratocaster American Standard. Through the years Gibson and Fender (both registered trademarks) have increased their prices considerably without adding giving much back in return.
Our guitars are made using only AAA-class wood (alder, ebony, mahogany, maple, rosewood) purchased from dedicated wood farms around the world to avoid infringements to the “Lacy Act” and to avoid endangering the environment.
Regarding the pickups, we are partnering with manufacturers to emulate the quality of Gibson’s ’57 and ‘59 humbuckers as well as Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio and EMG. The goal is to provide high sound quality without paying the inflated brand name prices. On the electronics assembling structure we go further than our counterparts, by doing all the wiring by hand. All guitars are inspected in detail by an expert before we package and ship it to you.

We have one manufacturer of the guitars lined up and waiting for orders. They have been in business for 20 years and will be able to easily produce our first run of guitars. However, we also have connections at 19 other manufacturers in case something unforeseen comes up and we need to change manufacturers.
For this first batch of guitars, Norman will personally inspect every guitar before shipping them to the founding member. If there’s a delay for any reason, we will e-mail the founding member immediately.

The risks and challenges for manufacturing our guitars are similar to those of manufacturing any product. For example, there could be a natural disaster that slows production or causes a parts shortage, or there could be an equipment malfunction at the factory. In any case, we have backup manufacturers lined up, though this could introduce a delay.
